Burlington's Springwood Park

This is a Beautiful soccer complex. We just spent the weekend here for Triangle Futbol Club's Columbus Day Tournament. The fields are well maintained. The grass was perfect for playing, and showed little to no wear. The facility has a brick concession area with flush toilets, water fountain and a concession stand that can sell hot food. We did not eat at the concession stand, so I can't speak to the quality. Not far from the concession building is a small playground. The playground looked new, and was adequate for elementary aged kids with swings and a jungle gym.

Not far from Springwood Park there are plenty of fast food restaurants, etc. There is some shopping on University Drive not far from I40. We packed our lunches for the tournament and watched some games, so we did not leave the park, but many families were able to leave and grab lunch and be back within an hour.
